Abstract

|
|
A case of paragonimiasis associated with spontaneous pneumothorax was reported. A 36 year-old housewife was admitted to the hospital because of dyspnea and right chest pain for one month duration. Chest x-ray showed pneumothorax of the right lung with deviation of heart toward the opposite side. Parago ovum was positive in repeated sputum examination. Patient recovered satisfactory with biotionol therapy.
